There's not much that Jolyon hasn't accomplished in New Zealand, he's a DJ, music producer, magazine publisher, party promoter & big time party animal.

His musical background started over 13 years ago playing the piano & drums in school orchestras & funk, ska bands. It wasn't until the late 90's till Jolyon started honing his skills over the decks & playing parties in the under ground rave scene.

Dj'ing in back bars of clubs & parties, Jolyon's reputation for spinning up sexy swingin' beats were getting him more work around town, by 2000 he had already Dj'ed in most of the bars around Auckland and his profile was getting bigger. March 2000, Jolyon launched Infusion magazine into the Auckland club scene.

The fortnightly magazine is often referred to by people in the know as the only NZ dance bible; covering dance events, nationwide gig guides, photos, interviews and much more.

This also came at a time when Jolyon was discovering his love for all styles of dance music, often being booked as a party Dj, playing House, breaks, prog & Trance. Having such an open mind to playing all forms of dance music opened up bigger challenges for him, such as the politics in the scene. However this did not deter him from sometimes playing 3 multi genre gigs a night.

Hassling promoters to give him a set worked in favour one day when he was asked to become a resident Dj at the famous Bed nightclub on K-Rd. This was his first major club residency.

Here he honed his skills over the decks for over a year and a half playing to crowds regularly of up to 800 weekly. After a year of playing at Bed, Jolyon & long time friend Sam Hill started a coinciding night 'Pure n' Sexy' on the Friday which meant Jolyon now had a double residency Fridays & Saturdays at the most happening club in Auckland.

Here he also started taking more and more bookings for the touring super clubs and international DJ acts playing in the back bars. Although it wasn't long before Jolyon starting taking main stage bookings supporting countless International DJ's and in the process maturing himself into the A grade league of Dj's in New Zealand.

Jolyon has had top Dj billings and has performed at Ministry of Sound, Two Tribes, Cream, Slinky, Gatecrasher, Velvet, Decadence, Lagered!, The Brain, Ourhouse, Vibes on a summers day, Deep Hard n' funky, Chemistry, Unity, Discothequé, Renaisance, Ourhouse, along with many top local events including his own hugely successful promoted events, Glamour, High Rollers, Style Deluxé, Glisten, The Big Club night Out, the House Sessions & Infusion House parties & his successful - Pure n' Sexy.
